Titles

1.1 Have a good title.

1.2 Have a unique title for each page.

1.3 Place important keywords only.

1.4 Use pipe symbol (|) between the keywords.

Meta tags

2.1 Meta title should be clear

9.3 Submit your xml sitemap regularly to search engines.

9.4 Use Google and Yahoo search engine’s web master tools to submit your sitemap.

9.5 XML sitemap’s link limit is 50,000

9.6 XML sitemap’s space limit is 10 MB

9.7 Maximum total of XML sitemap is 1000 per site.

Robots.txt file

10.1 Have this file to control the spider.

10.2 Have proper disallow commands for broken links and under construction pages.

Link submission

11.1 Search related and standard sites and submit your site.

11.2 Write unique articles about your site with your links and submit to article submission websites.

11.3 Utilize blogger.com, Youtube.com and Orkut.com to spread your links.

Directory submission

12.1 Submit your site to standard web directories.

12.2 Make sure that your site should run on both IE and Mozila firefox. So that you can submit your site to standard directories.

Advertisements

13.1 Search high ranking sites with more visitors and give advertisements.

13.2 Give ad on Google and Yahoo.

13.3 Go with paid link submission with your links.
